The recently award nominated Historic Rally Festival has gone live with early bird tickets on sale via their venue partner, Weston Park.

Expanding to a two-day Motorsport UK permitted multi venue event, the Historic Rally Festival will be holding stages at a brand-new venue, the iconic Ironbridge Power Station to the southwest of Telford in Shropshire.

The power station is in the process of a huge regeneration plan by the Harworth Group to create 1,000 new homes, park and public open space. To hold stages of the Historic Rally Festival and showcase Harworth’s plans is fantastic.

Another of the new features will be the Saturday evening stages in the grounds of Weston Park before the cars return to service in Telford and prepare for a full day of action back in the historic parkland.

On Sunday there will be a “Meet and Greet” where all the rally cars taking part in the event will be displayed in a specially created area for the public to come in and see the cars close up and meet the drivers.

Warner Lewis, Rallying History Event Organiser commented: “This is a tremendous opportunity to expand the festival into an even bigger multi-venue historic demonstration rally.”

“We are also really excited about our plans at Weston Park to whom we are grateful for inviting us back in 2022 and being able to run the cars into the evening and create those special moments of the old RAC rally days.”

Tickets for the weekend are now on sale via Weston Park with early bird savings across single day and also weekend tickets.

There is a new ticket structure to encourage the younger generation to come and see some of the most amazing rally cars in action.

Rally HQ will be with Telford and Wrekin Council who will be hosting the Ceremonial Start which will now be much earlier in the day on Saturday with Live Scrutineering in the QE2 Arena and the Service Park in the town centre.
